NEW Facebook Page

FBJust last week I started a brand new Facebook Page; I thought I would bring this to your attention. For me, the goal was to create another space where I could connect with educators throughout the world. It’s not meant to replace any other platform, including this blog.

I will still be using Twitter for short/frequent posts and interactions; I will still be using this blog for longer, more thoughtful posts. My Facebook Page is meant to find the sweet spot between the two: Longer posts than twitter, shorter posts than my blog. As well, my Facebook Page will include a much wider scope of content, although it will still be primarily focused on education.

So, if you are on Facebook, please take a moment to check out (maybe even like?) my Facebook Page.

You can still find me on Twitter: @TomSchimmer

Thanks for subscribing to my blog. I look forward to our continued connection!

Tom

  1. Hi,

I hope you are well. I’m terrible at blogging, but I just finished a piece on data notebooks, if you are interested: anamcaraconsulting.com/wordpress/

Sad, that we aren’t doing much connecting following all of our July planning. . . .

  2. Hello, my name is Miriah Grantham and I am a student in EDM310 at the University of South Alabama. I now follow your blog, and I will be sure to add your Twitter and Facebook accounts as well. EDM310 is based on the use of Technology, we had to make several PBL accounts and we do weekly assignments on our blogs. (granthammiriahedm310.blogspot.com). I really like how you use these accounts to connect with other educators! I still havent mastered Twitter, but I am a big Facebook user and I actually enjoy blogging now. Thanks for expanding your knowledge through Facebook.

    • Hi Miriah,

Thanks for following my blog. I am now quite accustomed to EDM310 students reading my blog…there have been many of you over the past couple of years! You should send me a link to your blog so I can check it out. Good luck!

      Tom
